This year, Saga North is offering two weekends to Squaw Valley, one in February and one in March. This is the March weekend. Come join us in Saga North's weekend trip to Squaw Valley, for some of the steepest terrain and deepest snow-fall in North America. Squaw Valley has 4,000 acres of lift-served ski terrain including 16 bowls, and over 100 runs spanning six peaks, served by a network of 34 lifts. Squaw Valley offers something for everyone; from double-black diamond runs for the expert skier/boarder, long blue groomed runs for the intermediate skier/boarder and advanced beginner, and many green runs for the beginners. For snowboarders, there are three terrain parks, one super-pipe and one standard half-pipe. We will be staying at the Saga North house in the Tahoe Donner area of Truckee, a short drive to Squaw Valley. Your Saga North weekend package includes:
You will also be able to purchase a second all-day lift ticket to Squaw Valley from the trip leader. Saga North gets a group discount and you don't have to wait in line! (There is also a package with no lift ticket, if you don't need one.) Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are using the same tickets this year. While this adds more possibilities, we encourage everyone to stay together with the group. |
The standard package is $245 per person. There are also four economy spots with bunk bed or futon accomodations at $205 per person. See the house page for a detailed description of the shared living arrangements. There is also an option with no included lift ticket, for $75 less, You need to become a member of Saga North to go on this trip, which is only $ per person for 12 months, October to September. You can buy your membership at the same time you sign up for this trip. Your trip leader will be Saga North's Secretary, Ben Stefonik. You can e-mail him by clicking on the "Email the Event Leader" button below. To room with someone or request a specific bed in your price category, please e-mail the event leader to make prior arrangements. We cannot guarantee that all special requests can be accommodated but we will do our best. The distribution of rooms and beds is described in detail on the house page. |
